Staff members from Fort Smith Regional Dialysis Center (FSRDC) were proud to attend the 21st Annual Power of the Purse, presented by the United Way of Fort Smith Area, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the ACHE Research Institute in Fort Smith.
This special annual event brings together community members and organizations to recognize and benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, an extraordinary literacy initiative dedicated to providing free, age-appropriate books to young children and inspiring a lifelong love of reading.
The event featured guest speaker Kennedy Holland, Miss Arkansas 2025, and celebrated the importance of education, generosity, and community involvement.
Dolly Parton’s vision of placing books into the hands of children has touched families around the world. Her remarkable commitment to childhood literacy has created a legacy that will continue to live on for generations, opening doors to imagination, learning, and opportunity for countless children.
At Fort Smith Regional Dialysis Center, we believe that caring for our community extends beyond the healthcare services we provide. Supporting meaningful initiatives such as the Power of the Purse reflects our commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.
FSRDC is honored to support the mission of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and extends sincere appreciation to the United Way of Fort Smith Area for organizing this wonderful event and continuing to invest in the future of our children.
